Doesn’t this little sweetie remind you of Spring?  I pierced the DP but because of the print it wasn’t visible so I added some embroidery thread and a few beads.  I realize that it’s still hard to see because of the light color, but I felt it added just the right accent to it.  Thanks for looking!

I bought some Old Olive DP (sorry, I can’t remember the name of it) a few months ago and have started cutting into it.  I like how Old Olive looks with River Rock.  I stamped a snowflake and added dazzling diamonds to it, then cut out some snowflakes (Cuttlebug die) to layer on top.  I finished the snowflakes off with an Oregon Rain Drop.  I know it’s not “traditional” snowflake colors, but like the look.  Thanks for looking!

This was one of the first Christmas sets I acquired when I started stamping.  I’m not sure I like the angel in Old Olive, but gave it a shot anyway.  I watercolored the angel using reinkers, cut it out and attached it with pop dots. It’s hard to see in the picture but the angel is outlined with a black spica marker. Thanks for looking!

Owls have been so popular lately.  I like the sets I’ve seen so far, but none of them really grabbed me.  Well, last week I was in Archiver’s and saw these cuties by Hero Arts.  I had found an owl set that I liked enough to get!  Aren’t they cute?  These were quick and fun to put together, and I love the 3×3 size.  I even added some liquid applique to the cuff of the boots of the owl in the top hat.  The cardinal and frog card are from Stampin Up.  Thanks for looking!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how large the images were from GinaK Designs.  They are not too large, but rather give a nice focal point to your card.  Anyway last week’s Ways to Use It Challenge over at SCS was to use Specialty Paper.  I had this gorgeous paper pack from K&Co and liked the gold foiling.  I thought it matched perfectly with my image.  I added some paper piercing, oregon rain drops and chocolate satin ribbon to complete the card.

The ovals were cut using Petite Oval Nestabilites…these ovals are perfect for sentiments, as well as large images.  I bought mine at Cut@Home and got them with the VIP 40% coupon (look for the VIP Coupon tab).  Marcie is wonderful and has always been very professional and quick to answer my questions.  Thanks for looking!

Are you sick of all the baby cards yet? LOL! I love baby cards and will probably never get tired of them. This stamp is from A New Little Someone and is for my cousin who just had her first baby boy. I thought the sentiment was perfect and I like the simplicity of this layout.
