Out For a Swim

This is another card using Anna Wight’s new release, Swimmin’ By. Isn’t it cute? Mama fish is taking her babies out for a swim, or perhaps a play date?
Image was colored using Copic markers and the background was airbrushed as well. Eyelets were added at the bottom with some twine. DP [...]

Anna Wight has done it again with two new sets, Swimmin’ By and Beach Bum.  Both were released yesterday.  I love how her sets have so many possibilities and how cute they are.   The images were colored with Copic markers and the backgrounds airbrushed.  I completed the cards with embossing folders, twine, eyelets, glitter, [...]

Mother’s Day

My sweet husband bought me an air compressor for Mother’s Day (don’t worry, I asked for it!).  This is the first card I made using it (for the background).  I might have over done it but it was so fun to use.  I guess I’ll be an airbrushing fool for a while, so bear with [...]

I made 20 various note cards measuring 3 1/2″ x 5″.  After I was enabled to buy a few hundred envelopes I figured it would be within my best interest to use some of them!  Ha!  This gift set was for a friend who recently received her graduate degree, woohooo!  I know she sends out [...]

Some New Images

Now on to my exciting news….I have been asked to design [...]

Cricut Flowers

I was browsing a blog that showed how to make these gorgeous flowers.  I accidentally closed out my window and haven’t been able to find it (grrr….) so I can’t give credit for it.  I’m sorry!
I made a few changes to them, but cut these flowers out using Plantin Schoolbook at 1/4″ intervals.  My smallest [...]

Another Sugar Nellie

Here is the other adorable stamp by Sugar Nellie I bought.  I left the mailbox off of this card, the two images are large enough to hold their own.  I tried to get a close up of the hem of the shirt, as I used a Spica Glitter pen and it looks really cute.  Unfortunately, [...]

Little Gardner

Doesn’t this little sweetie remind you of Spring?  I pierced the DP but because of the print it wasn’t visible so I added some embroidery thread and a few beads.  I realize that it’s still hard to see because of the light color, but I felt it added just the right accent to it.  Thanks [...]

An Award

It seems that I, Miss Popsicle Toes, was given an award by my friend, Lisa.   Check out this girl’s blog, she’s beautiful and a Hero Hostess (so jealous!) and very talented.  I don’t have anyone to pass this on to (sniff sniff), but that’s mainly because I haven’t kept up.  You’ll enjoy Lisa’s work…go treat [...]
